I purchased this calendar for the pictures of the Orthodox icons that illustrate each month. It would have been very helpful if each picture had a label explaining just what was being portrayed by the icon, as these are familiar (no doubt) to the Orthodox faithful, but obscure to a Protestant westerner who admires and appreciates this element of eastern worship.
