It was a fast read but pretty bland writing. I was not compelled to buy the rest of the series
Sugar Creek Romance is a light read, one you can lay down and pick up when you wish. You need to purchase the next book for it to continue, otherwise it leaves you hanging.
This is a very easy read. I felt it lacked depth, but am optimistic about finding it in book 2.
Overall, it's worth the time (not much) to relax and enter the virtual world of the Amish.
i don't particularly care for short stories so that's part of why the review. it's a fine story.
This is a great Christian book! It was a real to life example of young love! It left me sad that I do not know how Sarah is!
Book 1 was somewhat of a surprise! I didn't plan on reading three (3)books to get the complete story! Book 1 was a setting to prepare you for the next, which you have to get to find out what happens next!
A Sugarcreek Amish Romance
I do not like a book that you have to buy the next one to find out if one of the main character s lives or dies. I really liked the storyline but hated the ending. Some of the comments didn't remind me of Amish people.
This would be a much better book if it was kept in one book instead of broken into 3 books and somewhat mixed up in the middle. This book leaves you hanging for more and the second book 3 Years Later does not do the ending of the 1st book justice. By the time I got to the 3rd book Willis's Choice the story had lost some of its punch.
